Collings MT Mandolin

De MT combineert de betaalbare satin afwerking en ingetogen kenmerken van Collings met dezelfde kwaliteitsconstructie en toonhoutsoorten als hun meest gedecoreerde A-stijl modellen. Met een premium carved Engelmann sparren bovenblad en gevlamd esdoornhout voor de achterkant en zijkanten, biedt de handgemaakte MT een professioneel niveau van toon en speelbaarheid in een eenvoudig en ingetogen ontwerp. Het hout is met de hand geselecteerd en krijgt precies de juiste dikte om de beste klank uit het hout te halen.

De ultradunne laklaag van nitrocellulose en individueel afgestemde toonhouten zorgen voor een heldere sustain, een breed dynamisch bereik en een indrukwekkende responsiviteit die kan wedijveren met instrumenten in aanzienlijk hogere prijsklassen. Voor een optimale bespeelbaarheid is de MT voorzien van een V-vormige hals van gevlamd esdoorn die dankzij zijn matte laklaag en met een PLEK-machine gevlakte én met de hand afgewerkte frets zeer soepel speelt.

The MT combines Collings' affordable satin finish and understated features with the same quality construction and tone woods as their most decorated A-style models. With a premium carved Engelmann spruce top and flamed maple wood for the back and sides, the handmade MT offers a professional level of tone and playability in a simple and understated design. The wood is hand-selected and given just the right thickness to get the best sound from the wood.


The ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish and individually tuned tonewoods ensure a bright sustain, wide dynamic range and impressive responsiveness that can rival instruments in considerably higher price ranges. For optimal playability, the MT features a V-shaped neck made of flamed maple, which plays very smoothly thanks to its matt lacquer finish and PLEK-machined and hand-finished frets.

Für optimale Bespielbarkeit verfügt die MT über einen V-förmigen Hals aus geflammtem Ahorn, der sich dank seiner Mattlackierung und der von PLEK bearbeiteten und handgefertigten Bünde sehr geschmeidig spielt.
