Do you want to be part of a close-knit team within a very special guitar shop?

The Fellowship Of Acoustics in the former town hall of Dedemsvaart is looking for a sales employee to provide our customers with an unforgettable experience. In our unique shop, passionate guitarists and professionals alike come together to find the perfect guitar. As a sales employee, you will be the bridge between the customer and their dream instrument. You make sure everyone feels welcome and walks out the door with the right product.

What does the job entail?​

  • You are a friendly host.
  • You understand that customers don't just need something, but more importantly are looking for something they dream about.
  • You are a real ‘people person’ and enjoy interacting with customers. Over time, you will build a personal relationship.
  • You can translate customers' needs into the right brand and type of stringed instrument, and let them experience it in a unique environment.
  • You will be responsible for cross-selling.
  • You will take care of the shop's appearance and layout, both online and offline.

We're looking for:

  • You have strong communication skills and understand people's needs.
  • You are commercially minded.
  • You are a team player.
  • You are available for at least 24 to 32 hours a week and are willing to work on Saturdays and sometimes a Sunday.
  • You have relevant work experience or training in service delivery, sales or hospitality.
  • You have at least an MBO+ working and thinking level.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, English and German, and preferably also speak another European language (e.g. Polish, Swedish or Spanish).
  • You have a broad general knowledge of guitars and woods and are willing to delve further into the craft.

**Please note:** The Fellowships Of Acoustics is open 6 days a week and 1 Sunday a month from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm. Daily we are present from 08:30. So this is not a typical 9-to-5 job and you will work in different shifts.
