Antonio Wandré Pioli was een van de meest experimentele gitaarbouwers van zijn tijd, actief vanuit het Italiaanse Cavriago in de jaren '50 en '60. Wandre gitaren stonden bekend om hun radicale ontwerpkeuzes en onconventionele materiaalgebruik, waarbij Pioli geen enkele traditie respecteerde. De aluminium hals was een van zijn meest opvallende innovaties, een materiaal dat destijds volledig revolutionair was in de gitaarbouw. De Tri Lam modellen behoorden tot zijn vroege ontwerpen en zijn tegenwoordig zeer zeldzaam, vooral in deze bijzondere Antigua kleurstelling.
De combinatie van de aluminium hals en gelamineerde poplar body zorgt voor een unieke klankkarakter die je nergens anders tegenkomt. De aluminium constructie geeft een heldere, gedefinieerde klank met een bijzondere sustain, terwijl de hollowbody warmte en resonantie toevoegt. Het lage gewicht van slechts 2,11 kg maakt deze gitaar verrassend comfortabel in het spelen. Op de brug mist een onderdeel dat over de snaren loopt, maar verder is de gitaar geheel intact en goed bespeelbaar. De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd.

A piece running across the strings is missing from the bridge, but otherwise the guitar is completely intact and plays well. The guitar comes with a TFOA passport.

Diese Wandre hat im Laufe der Jahre verschiedene Spielspuren angesammelt. Die Lackierung weist Dellen und Knistern auf, und auch die Einfassung ist auffällig. Ein quer über die Saiten verlaufendes Stück am Steg fehlt, ansonsten ist die Gitarre aber völlig intakt und lässt sich gut spielen. Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass geliefert.
