Wolfgang Jellinghaus 1883 Torres 43 Maple Swiss Spruce
Wolfgang Jellinghaus 1A17 model made in the Milestone Luthier Centre, that was founded in the year 2013 by Wolfgang Jellinghaus & Michael Zhang. The goal of the Milestone Luthier Centre is to rebuild the history of classic guitar making by selecting six different master builders from the past 230 years who set new standards for the guitar making in terms of construction & sound.
This 1A43 is a replica of a guitar built by the legendary Antonio de Torres. Just like the original, this Jellinghaus contains back and sides made of beautifully flamed maple, paired with a Swiss spruce that is harvested during a waning moon and is completely finished with shellac. The cedar neck has an ebony fingerboard and gives the guitar a short scale. Finally, the guitar is finished by the ebony binding, detailed rosette and typical inlays in the rosewood bridge.
