De eyecatcher is de hagedis-inlay op de ebbenhouten toets, gemaakt van gevlamd mahonie, geïnspireerd op de tattoo die Ed in 2014 liet zetten ter ere van het album.
De klankkast is opgebouwd uit prachtig gevlamd walnoot voor de zij- en achterkant, gecombineerd met een gerecyclede massieve Sitka sparren top. Deze combinatie zorgt voor een warme, heldere toon met veel projectie en een rijk klankspectrum.
De gitaar is beschikbaar in het compacte en comfortabele ‘W’-formaat en is voorzien van extra X-details in gevlamd mahonie op de top, de toets en de kop. Dankzij het LR Baggs EAS VTC element is de gitaar volledig podiumklaar. Een uniek intern ‘X’-label maakt dit jubileummodel helemaal af.
The standout feature is the lizard inlay on the ebony fretboard, crafted from figured mahogany, inspired by the tattoo Ed had made in 2014 to commemorate the album.
The back and sides are made of beautifully figured walnut, paired with a reclaimed solid Sitka spruce top. This combination delivers a rich, clear tone with surprising depth and projection, making it ideal for both studio and stage use.
Available in the compact and comfortable ‘W’ size, the guitar includes additional X-themed appointments: inlays in figured mahogany on the soundboard, headplate, and fingerboard. Outfitted with an LR Baggs EAS VTC pickup system, and finished with a custom internal ‘X’ label, this guitar is made to be seen and heard.
