De Rivolta Mondata Deluxe Baritone is volledig herontworpen voor 2024 door de gerenommeerde gitaarbouwer Dennis Fano. Dit model combineert een klassiek offset-ontwerp met moderne innovaties, waardoor het een uniek en veelzijdig instrument is. De body is gemaakt van ultralicht Simarouba, een duurzame houtsoort met uitstekende resonantie en een prachtige nerfstructuur die doet denken aan Korina. De verhoogde center block en een nieuwe contourafwerking aan de achterkant zorgen voor extra speelcomfort. De set-in hals van één stuk geroosterd esdoorn heeft een natuurlijke satijnen afwerking, wat niet alleen de stabiliteit verbetert, maar ook zorgt voor een heerlijk soepele speelervaring.
Onder de motorkap biedt de Mondata Deluxe Baritone een dynamische en veelzijdige sound. De gitaar is uitgerust met een Rivolta Custom JM-stijl pickup in de halspositie en een vintage-voiced Rivolta Custom Humbucker in de brugpositie. Met de vier op de slagplaat gemonteerde schakelaars kun je eenvoudig schakelen tussen pickups, coil splitten en fasewisselingen toepassen, waardoor je een breed scala aan klanken binnen handbereik hebt. De 28 inch mensuur biedt diepe, gedefinieerde lage tonen, ideaal voor baritongeluiden met helderheid en punch.
Naast zijn indrukwekkende klank en speelmogelijkheden is de Mondata Deluxe Baritone ook een visueel pareltje. De glanzende bodyafwerking wordt gecompleteerd door een zilverkleurige plexi slagplaat en nikkel hardware, waaronder vintage-stijl Wilkinson-stemmechanieken en een op maat gemaakte aluminium ‘Vibra-Tail’ tailpiece. The Rivolta Mondata Deluxe Baritone has been completely redesigned for 2024 by renowned luthier Dennis Fano. This model combines a classic offset design with modern innovations, making it a unique and versatile instrument. The body is made of ultra-light Simarouba, a sustainable wood with excellent resonance and a beautiful grain structure reminiscent of Korina. The raised center block and a new contoured finish on the back provide additional playing comfort. The set-in neck is made of one piece of roasted maple and has a natural satin finish, which not only improves stability but also provides a wonderfully smooth playing experience.
Under the hood, the Mondata Deluxe Baritone offers a dynamic and versatile sound. The guitar is equipped with a Rivolta Custom JM-style pickup in the neck position and a vintage-voiced Rivolta Custom Humbucker in the bridge position. Four pickguard-mounted switches allow you to easily switch between pickups, coil splitting and phase switching, giving you a wide range of tones at your fingertips. The 28-inch scale length offers deep, defined lows, ideal for baritone sounds with clarity and punch.
In addition to its impressive tone and playability, the Mondata Deluxe Baritone is also a visual gem. The gloss body finish is complemented by a silver-colored plexi pickguard and nickel hardware, including vintage-style Wilkinson tuners and a custom-made aluminum “Vibra-Tail” tailpiece.
