R&R DR Rosewood Spruce 2014
De basis voor dit project was een diep verlangen om een gitaar van een zeer hoog niveau te bouwen; een gitaar die kan concurreren met de grote namen zoals Collings en Santa Cruz, maar ook in staat moet zijn zich te kunnen meten met beroemde gitaarbouwers zoals Wayne Henderson en Blazer & Henkes. Een flinke uitdaging die Rudi en Roman met groots enthousiasme zijn aangegaan!
Met de befaamde D28 als inspiratie en hun gezamenlijke, jarenlange ervaring met al die bijzondere gitaren, bevat deze dreadnought veel van de kenmerken die het model zo groot hebben gemaakt. Zo wordt de volle, maar ook zeer heldere klank geproduceerd door de combinatie van palissander en sparrenhout en de 'scalloped' X-bracing onder het bovenblad.
De herringbone purfling, 'Diamonds & Squares' toets-inleg, en Torch inleg op de kop maken het vintage geïnspireerde plaatje helemaal af! Daarnaast is deze gitaar ook nog ontzettend schoon. Met enkel wat speelsporen op de slagplaat en achterkant van de klankkast verkeert hij zeker nog in excellente conditie.
Wordt geleverd in een koffer met TFOA paspoort.
The basis for this project was a deep desire to build a guitar of a very high standard; a guitar that can compete with the big names such as Collings and Santa Cruz, but also must be able to stand their ground with famous luthiers such as Wayne Henderson and Blazer & Henkes. A big challenge that Rudi and Roman took on with great enthusiasm!
Inspired by the famed D28 and their joint, many years of experience with all those special guitars, this guitar contains many of the features that have made the dreadnought so great. The full, but also very clear sound is produced by the combination of rosewood and spruce and the 'scalloped' X-bracing.
The herringbone purfling, 'Diamonds & Squares' fingerboard inlays, and Torch headstock inlays complete the vintage-inspired vibe! In addition, this guitar is also really clean. With only some playwear on the pickguard and back of the body, it is certainly still in excellent condition.
Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
