De Swamp Ash Special is een bijzondere variant binnen de PRS Bolt-On familie. Het elzenhout geeft deze gitaar niet alleen zijn opvallende uitstraling, maar zorgt ook voor een bijzonder evenwichtige klank met strakke laagweergave en een helder maar zacht hoog. Het is de perfecte basis voor de doordachte combinatie van twee krachtige 58/15 LT humbuckers en de PRS Narrowfield in het midden, die de karakteristieke single-coil bite toevoegt – zonder de gebruikelijke brom.
Wat deze gitaar echt speciaal maakt is de enorme klankveelzijdigheid. Voor het eerst is dit model uitgerust met dubbele mini-toggle coil-tap switches, die samen met de 5-standen schakelaar voor twaalf verschillende geluidscombinaties zorgen. Draai de toonregelaar terug voor wat extra bite, zet hem open voor kristalheldere klanken, en het volume blijft perfect in balans tussen humbucker- en single-coil standen. De esdoorn hals met 22 frets, 25" mensuur en esdoorn toets wordt afgemaakt met Phase III locking tuners en de gepatenteerde PRS Gen III tremolo voor perfecte stemstabiliteit.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een gigbag.

The Swamp Ash Special is a special variant within the PRS Bolt-On family. The alder wood not only gives this guitar its striking appearance, but also ensures a particularly balanced sound with tight bass reproduction and a clear but soft high. It is the perfect basis for the well-thought-out combination of two powerful 58/15 LT humbuckers and the PRS Narrowfield in the middle, which adds the characteristic single-coil bite - without the usual hum.
What makes this guitar really special is the enormous tonal versatility. For the first time, this model is equipped with dual mini-toggle coil-tap switches, which together with the 5-way switch provide twelve different sound combinations. Roll the tone control back for some extra bite, crank it up for crystal-clear tones, and the volume remains perfectly balanced between humbucker and single-coil modes. The 22-fret, 25" scale maple neck and maple fingerboard are finished with Phase III locking tuners and the patented PRS Gen III tremolo for perfect tuning stability.
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and a gig bag.

Der 22-bündige, 25-Zoll-Ahornhals und das Ahorngriffbrett sind mit Phase III-Locking-Tunern und dem patentierten Gen III-Tremolo von PRS für hervorragende Stimmstabilität ausgestattet.
Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einer Gigbag geliefert.
