Lag T270PE Tramontane Parlor 2024

The parlor format has a rich history dating back to the late 19th century, when these compact guitars were popular in the salons of wealthy families. Lag Guitars, the French brand that has been building quality instruments since 1980, has revived this classic shape with the Tramontane series. The T270PE combines traditional construction methods with modern materials such as a solid Engelmann spruce top and distinctive snakewood details.

The compact parlor format produces a focused, intimate tone ideal for fingerstyle playing and singer-songwriter work, while the built-in Fishman pickup ensures you're immediately ready for performance. The bridge and fingerboard are made of Brankowood, an innovative, environmentally friendly wood material developed by Branko Hermescec, which involves treating wood from fast-growing pine trees. This process, called "tropicalization," gives the wood the tonal properties of tropical hardwoods, but without the ecological damage of logging rare trees.

The guitar was built in 2024 and is still in near mint condition. It comes with a TFOA passport and a gig bag.
