Eastman E6SS TC
Deze nieuwste toevoeging aan het rijke assortiment van Eastman is een gitaar die met zijn prachtige uiterlijk en hoogwaardige specificaties de aandacht meteen op zich gevestigd heeft. De E6SS is gebaseerd op de illustere J35 van Gibson, de veelzijdige gitaar die in 1936 het levenslicht zag. De gitaar is ook een knipoog naar de Eastman E10SS die voor het 20-jarig jubileum van TFOA werd gemaakt.
Zo beschikt deze Eastman over een bovenblad van Sitka sparren dat is behandeld met de welbekende Thermo Cured-methode. Dit houdt in dat het hout is blootgesteld aan hitte en druk voor het bouwen, waar het in dit proces een groot deel van zijn vocht al verliest. Het resultaat is een gitaar met een ingespeeld karakter en de gewilde klankkwaliteiten van een vintage instrument.Â
De klankast en hals van deze gitaar zijn vervaardigd uit mahonie, met daarbij een ebben toets die is voorzien van een inleg van parelmoer. Het traditioneel vormgegeven C-profiel van de hals biedt veel speelcomfort, terwijl de volledig massieve houtsoorten daarbij ook voorzien van een veelzijdige en hoogwaardige sound die past bij deze gitaar.
De gitaar wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een koffer.
