Fender Custom Shop LTD 70s Telecaster Custom Sunburst Relic 2023

Fender heeft de gitaar voorzien van De subtiel verouderde afwerking draagt niet alleen bij aan een lichte "ingespeelde" uitstraling, maar kan ook de toon beïnvloeden door het hout beter te laten resoneren. Dit geeft de gitaar een karakteristiek geluid dat doet denken aan vintage instrumenten. Maar naast het fantastische uiterlijk van deze gitaar mogen we niet vergeten dat deze Telecaster ook gewoon zeer aangenaam speelt en echt geweldig klinkt! De Wide Range CuNiFe en Twisted Tele pickups zijn een overtuigende interpretatie van de vintage exemplaren met genoeg bite en warmte! 

De Fender Telecaster Custom werd begin jaren '70 geïntroduceerd als reactie op de toenemende vraag naar dikkere, krachtigere sounds onder gitaristen. Waar de klassieke Tele vooral bekendstond om zijn heldere single-coil klank, groeide de populariteit van humbuckers in de jaren '60 snel. Fender schakelde daarom pickup-ontwerper Seth Lover in om een eigen humbucker te ontwikkelen. In 1972 verscheen de vernieuwde Telecaster Custom, uitgerust met een door Lover ontworpen humbucker in de halspositie en de traditionele single-coil bij de brug. Deze combinatie bood spelers een breder klankspectrum zonder de karakteristieke Tele-twang te verliezen.  

Deze Telecaster is gebouwd in 2023, en verkeert nog nagenoeg in nieuwstaat. De gitaar wordt geleverd in een luxe Custom Shop koffer met echtheidscertificaat.

Fender has provided the guitar with The subtly aged finish not only contributes to a slightly "played-in" appearance, but can also influence the tone by making the wood resonate better. This gives the guitar a characteristic sound that is reminiscent of vintage instruments. But besides the fantastic appearance of this guitar, we must not forget that this Telecaster also simply plays very pleasantly and sounds really great! The Wide Range CuNiFe and Twisted Tele pickups are a convincing interpretation of the vintage ones with enough bite and warmth!


The Fender Telecaster Custom was introduced in the early 70s in response to the increasing demand for thicker, more powerful sounds among guitarists. While the classic Tele was best known for its bright single-coil tone, humbuckers grew rapidly in popularity in the 1960s. Fender therefore called on pickup designer Seth Lover to develop its own humbucker. In 1972, the updated Telecaster Custom appeared, equipped with a Lover-designed humbucker in the neck position and the traditional single-coil at the bridge. This combination offered players a wider tonal spectrum without losing the characteristic Tele twang.


This Telecaster was built in 2023 and is still in near mint condition. The guitar comes in a luxury Custom Shop case with a certificate of authenticity.

Fender hat der Gitarre ein dezent gealtertes Finish verpasst, das nicht nur zu einem leicht „eingespielten“ Aussehen beiträgt, sondern auch den Klang beeinflussen kann, indem es das Holz besser mitschwingen lässt. Dadurch erhält die Gitarre einen charakteristischen Klang, der an Vintage-Instrumente erinnert. Doch neben der fantastischen Optik dieser Gitarre dürfen wir nicht vergessen, dass sich diese Telecaster auch sehr angenehm spielen lässt und wirklich toll klingt! Die Wide Range CuNiFe und Twisted Tele Pickups sind eine überzeugende Interpretation der Vintage-Exemplare mit genügend Biss und Wärme!


Die Fender Telecaster Custom wurde Anfang der 1970er Jahre als Reaktion auf die wachsende Nachfrage der Gitarristen nach fetteren, kraftvolleren Klängen eingeführt. Während die klassische Tele vor allem für ihren hellen Single-Coil-Ton bekannt war, erfreuten sich Humbucker in den 1960er Jahren zunehmender Beliebtheit. Fender beauftragte daher den Tonabnehmer-Designer Seth Lover mit der Entwicklung eines eigenen Humbuckers. 1972 erschien die neu gestaltete Telecaster Custom, ausgestattet mit einem von Lover entwickelten Humbucker im Halsbereich und dem traditionellen Single-Coil am Steg. Diese Kombination bot den Spielern ein breiteres Klangspektrum, ohne den charakteristischen Tele-Twang zu verlieren.


Diese Telecaster wurde 2023 gebaut und befindet sich noch in nahezu neuwertigem Zustand. Die Gitarre wird in einem Deluxe-Custom-Shop-Koffer mit Echtheitszertifikat geliefert.
