De I35 LC is het resultaat van een custom gelamineerde constructietechniek die Bill Collings en zijn R&D-team ontwikkelden in hun zoektocht naar de beste klankkwaliteiten van vintage semi-hollow gitaarontwerpen. De I35LC is de eerste van een serie laminaat gemaakte instrumenten die zijn ontworpen om akoestisch in perfecte harmonie met hun elektronica te reageren.
Elk detail van deze instrumenten is perfect; van het vakmanschap tot de speelbaarheid en klank. De twee pickups zijn een paar geweldig klinkende Lollar mini humbuckers. Deze zijn vergelijkbaar met de pickups die te vinden zijn in de Les Pauls uit de jaren '70, en hebben een lagere output met minder laag en een strakkere attack dan de standard Imperials. Dit resulteert in een uitzonderlijke definitie voor elke akkoord voicing en een algehele geweldige presence om door de mix te snijden. De gitaar is hierdoor bijzonder multifunctioneel en kan daardoor elke denkbare muzikale klus aan!

The I35 LC is the result of a custom laminated construction technique developed by Bill Collings and his R&D team in their quest to capture the best tonal qualities of vintage semi-hollow guitar designs. The I35LC is the first in a series of laminated instruments designed to acoustically interact in perfect harmony with their electronics.
Every detail of these instruments is perfect, from the craftsmanship to the playability and tone. The two pickups are a pair of great-sounding Lollar mini humbuckers. These are similar to the pickups found in Les Pauls from the 1970s, and have a lower output with less bass and a tighter attack than standard Imperials. This results in exceptional definition for every chord voicing and an overall superb presence to cut through the mix. This makes the guitar exceptionally versatile and capable of handling any musical task imaginable!
As you would expect from Collings, the guitar is finished to an almost uncannily high standard. The top of the guitar features a beautiful, subtle Boot Burst finish that blends beautifully with the stained body and mahogany neck. Every detail of this instrument is perfect, from the craftsmanship to the playability and tone. All of this makes the I35LC one of Collings' most vibrant and versatile electric models!

Jedes Detail dieser Instrumente ist perfekt – von der Verarbeitung über die Bespielbarkeit bis hin zum Klang. Die beiden Tonabnehmer sind zwei hervorragend klingende Lollar Mini-Humbucker. Sie ähneln den Tonabnehmern von Les Pauls aus den 1970er-Jahren und haben eine geringere Ausgangsleistung mit weniger Bass und einem strafferen Attack als Standard-Imperials. Das Ergebnis ist eine außergewöhnliche Definition jeder Akkordlage und eine insgesamt hervorragende Präsenz, die sich im Mix durchsetzt. Dadurch ist die Gitarre extrem vielseitig und für jede erdenkliche musikalische Aufgabe geeignet!
Wie man es von Collings erwartet, ist die Gitarre von nahezu unheimlich hoher Qualität verarbeitet. Die Decke der Gitarre besticht durch ein wunderschönes, dezentes Boot-Burst-Finish, das perfekt mit dem gebeizten Korpus und dem Mahagonihals harmoniert.
