Alastair Atkin bouwt al decennialang gitaren die geïnspireerd zijn op de grote klassiekers uit de jaren '40 en '50, waarbij hij de beste elementen van vintage instrumenten combineert met modern vakmanschap. De Slope Shoulder Jumbo-bodyvorm zorgt voor een veelzijdige klank met warme bassen en heldere hoogtes, perfect voor zowel fingerstyle als krachtig strummen. Het gebakken Sitka sparren bovenblad heeft al die rijpheid en openheid die je normaal alleen bij vintage gitaren vindt, terwijl de mahonie klankkast zorgt voor focus en warmte.
De C-profiel hals ligt comfortabel in de hand, en met zijn 16" radius speelt de gitaar soepel over de hele toets. De aged nitro finish geeft de gitaar direct dat doorleefde uiterlijk, en het drie-op-een-rij stemmechaniek versterkt de vintage uitstraling. The Slope Shoulder Jumbo body shape provides a versatile tone with warm bass and clear trebles, perfect for both fingerstyle and powerful strumming. The baked Sitka spruce top already has that maturity and openness you’d normally only find in vintage guitars, while the mahogany body adds focus and warmth.
The C-profile neck feels comfortable in the hand, and with its 16" radius, the guitar plays smoothly across the entire fingerboard. The aged nitro finish immediately gives it that well-played look, and the three-on-a-strip tuners enhance the vintage vibe.
