De Alhambra 5P is een stapje vooruit in vergelijking met Alhambra's bestseller 4P. Dit is het eerste model in de lijn met dat in de hals is voorzien van een strip, ter versteviging van de constructie en verbetering van de toon, vooral de sustain.
Het bovenblad van dit instrument, dat van grote invloed is op het geluid van een gitaar, van de Alhambra 5P bestaat uit een dunne laag rood ceder dat wordt ondersteund door 7 zangbalkjes. De 2 harmonische zangbalkjes aan de onderkant ondersteunen het volle, warme en rijke geluid.
Deze prachtige gitaar is met de hand gemaakt in Spanje volgens aloude methoden. De gitaar heeft verder een Indisch palissander klankkast, ebben toets en een prachtige met de hand gemaakt rozet.
