Martin 015 1940

​De Martin 0-15 is tegenwoordig steeds geliefder bij studio-artiesten, en dat is niet zonder reden. Het volledig mahonie dat in de loop der decennia prachtig is uitgedroogd, levert een gebalanceerde, heldere klank die zich moeiteloos in een mix laat plaatsen. Het compacte 0-body formaat zorgt niet alleen voor ultiem speelcomfort, maar ook voor een gefocuste sound die nuance en detail perfect naar voren brengt, ideaal voor in de studio.

Deze Martin uit 1940 heeft karakter in overvloed met enkele gerepareerde scheuren (zie foto’s), een overspray en een herstelde bridge plate. Op de headstock zitten de originele tuners, met een eerder geboord strap-gat dat inmiddels is gevuld. Ook de oude reparatie aan de headstock is stevig uitgevoerd.

Het tortoise headplate in combinatie met de tortoise slagplaat geeft de gitaar een elegante vintage uitstraling. Een echt stukje Martin-geschiedenis, klaar voor een nieuw hoofdstuk.

Geleverd met een hardshell koffer en TFOA paspoort staat deze 0-15 zowel voor Martin’s rijke erfgoed als voor een tijdloos instrument voor spelers die eenvoud, vakmanschap en een inspirerende sound waarderen.

With its all-mahogany construction that has dried out beautifully over the decades, it offers a balanced, articulate tone that sits perfectly in a mix. The compact 0-body shape adds to its comfort while providing a focused sound that captures nuance and detail, making it a perfect companion in the studio.

This 1940 Martin shows plenty of character with some repaired cracks, an overspray, and a repaired bridge plate. The original tuners remain on the headstock, where a previously drilled strap hole has been filled. An old but solid headstock repair adds to its story.

A standout detail is the tortoise headplate, which together with the tortoise pickguard gives this guitar an elegant vintage look. A true piece of Martin history, ready for its next chapter.
