De body van deze OM is gemaakt van Indisch palissander met daarbij een Sitka sparren bovenblad met prachtige subtiele Sunburst-finish. Met deze beproefde combinatie van houtsoorten levert de OM2H een heldere en gebalanceerde klank. Door de aanwezigheid van details als de ivoroid binding en herringbone purfling is de gitaar ook op visueel gebied zeer de moeite waard.
Tachtig jaar nadat het 'Orchestra Model' voor het eerst werd ontworpen is het een van de meest populaire 14-fret modellen geworden voor fingerstyle spelers die op stalen snaren willen spelen. Maar voor flatpickers is het ook een aantrekkelijk instrument. Hoewel hij na een aantal jaren qua volume werd onttroond door de machtige dreadnought, behoudt deze gitaar een bepaalde charme en unieke veelzijdigheid. De compacte vorm maakt hem ontzettend makkelijk te bespelen, zowel op het podium als op de bank, en de relatieve ondiepe klankkast zorgt voor een gebalanceerd geluid met een directe respons.
Deze Collings OM2HSB uit 2014 heeft lichte speelsporen op het bovenblad en de slagplaat, en daarbij ook speelsporen op de achterzijde van de body en hals en de headstock. De gitaar is verder echter zeer schoon. De gitaren van Collings behoren tot de favoriete gitaren van meerdere van onze Fellows, en het is niet voor niets dat deze gitaren niet lang in onze winkel blijven; als je er eenmaal een Collings hebt bespeeld wil je niets anders meer!
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van TKL.

Eighty years after its initial design, the "Orchestra Model" has become one of the most popular 14-fret models for fingerstyle players who prefer steel-string guitars. But it's also an attractive instrument for flatpickers. Although it was dethroned in volume by the mighty dreadnought after a few years, this guitar retains a certain charm and unique versatility. Its compact size makes it incredibly easy to play, both on stage and on the sofa, and the relatively shallow body delivers a balanced sound with a direct response.
This 2014 Collings OM2HSB has light playwear on the top and pickguard, as well as playwear on the back of the body, neck, and headstock. Otherwise, the guitar is very clean. Collings guitars are among the favorites of several of our Fellows, and it's no wonder they don't stay in our shop for long; once you've played a Collings, you won't want anything else!
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a TKL hardshell case.

Obwohl sie nach einigen Jahren von der mächtigen Dreadnought an Popularität übertroffen wurde, hat diese Gitarre ihren besonderen Charme und ihre einzigartige Vielseitigkeit bewahrt. Ihre kompakte Größe macht sie unglaublich leicht spielbar, sowohl auf der Bühne als auch zu Hause, und der relativ flache Korpus sorgt für einen ausgewogenen Klang mit direkter Ansprache.
Diese Collings OM2HSB aus dem Jahr 2014 weist leichte Gebrauchsspuren auf der Decke und dem Schlagbrett sowie auf der Rückseite des Korpus, dem Hals und der Kopfplatte auf. Ansonsten ist die Gitarre in einem sehr guten Zustand. Collings-Gitarren gehören zu den Favoriten vieler unserer Mitglieder, und es ist kein Wunder, dass sie bei uns schnell vergriffen sind; wer einmal eine Collings gespielt hat, will nichts anderes mehr!
Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass und in einem TKL-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
