Collings 290DCS TV Yellow 2012

De 290 serie is Collings' eerbetoon aan de klassieke single-cut gitaren uit de jaren '50, maar dan in een eigentijdse double-cut uitvoering. Gebouwd met een body van Hondurees mahonie en uitgerust met een comfortabele C-profiel mahonie hals met palissander toets, biedt deze gitaar een vertrouwde en toegankelijke speelervaring. De hals heeft een 12" radius en een mensuur van 24.9", wat zorgt voor een fijne balans tussen speelgemak en toonkarakter. De Kluson hardware en Gotoh stemmechanieken met Collings-logo geven de gitaar zijn authentieke vintage uitstraling.

De gitaar is geladen met een single P90 pickup in de brugpositie die meet op 9.72K, een configuratie die zorgt voor een directe, krachtige sound met veel bite en karakter. Voor zowel cleane akkoorden speelt of de versterker wat harder zet, deze P90 levert altijd een dynamische en expressieve klank die perfect past bij rock, blues en alles daartussenin. De gitaar verkeert in excellente staat met slechts lichte speelsporen, en wordt met een extra zwarte slagplaat geleverd in een Ameritage koffer.

The 290 series is Collings' tribute to the classic single-cut guitars of the 1950s, but in a contemporary double-cut version. Built with a Honduran mahogany body and fitted with a comfortable C-profile mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, this guitar offers a familiar and accessible playing experience. The neck has a 12" radius and a 24.9" scale, providing a fine balance between playability and tonal character. The Kluson hardware and Gotoh tuners with the Collings logo give the guitar its authentic vintage look.


The guitar is loaded with a single P90 pickup in the bridge position, measuring 9.72k, a configuration that delivers a direct, powerful sound with plenty of bite and character. Whether playing clean chords or cranking up the amp, this P90 always delivers a dynamic and expressive tone that's perfect for rock, blues, and everything in between. The guitar is in excellent condition with only minor playwear and comes with a black pickguard in an Ameritage hardshell case.
