Waar anderen hout gebruiken, koos Trussart juist voor staal. Niet alleen voor de looks, maar voor de unieke klankkarakteristieken die dit materiaal biedt. De Steel Deville is zijn interpretatie van de klassieke single-cut vorm, waarbij hij de tijdloze esthetiek combineert met zijn kenmerkende stalen constructie. Elke gitaar wordt volledig met de hand gemaakt in zijn atelier, waarbij hij gebruik maakt van vintage Amerikaanse staal en traditionele etsingstechnieken die elke gitaar een uniek karakter geven.

Deze Steel Deville uit 2011 toont het verfijnde vakmanschap waar Trussart om bekendstaat. De geëtste stalen body met zijn roestige finish is niet alleen visueel indrukwekkend, maar zorgt ook voor een unieke sustain en harmonische rijkdom die je bij houten gitaren niet vindt. Het staal geeft de gitaar een heldere, gedefinieerde attack met een warme ondertoon, terwijl de twee Arcane humbuckers zorgen voor veelzijdigheid van kristalhelder clean tot bruisende overdrive. De esdoorn hals met palissander toets biedt comfortabel speelgemak, en de combinatie van het C-profiel met de unieke resonantie-eigenschappen van staal maakt elke noot levendig en expressief. 

Door de verweerde finish is het lastig om speelsporen op de gitaar te ontdekken, en deze Trussart ziet er dan ook nog bijzonder goed uit. Het is een gitaar die niet alleen opvalt, maar ook écht anders klinkt dan al het andere in je collectie! Wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.

Where others use wood, Trussart chose steel. Not just for its looks, but for the unique tonal characteristics it offers. The Steel Deville is his interpretation of the classic single-cut shape, combining its timeless aesthetic with its signature steel construction. Each guitar is entirely handmade in his workshop, using vintage American steel and traditional etching techniques that give each guitar a unique character.


This 2011 Steel Deville showcases the refined craftsmanship Trussart is known for. The etched steel body with its rusted finish is not only visually striking but also provides a unique sustain and harmonic richness not found in wooden guitars. The steel gives the guitar a bright, defined attack with a warm undertone, while the two Arcane humbuckers provide versatility from crystal-clear clean to vibrant overdrive. The maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard offers comfortable playability, and the combination of the C-profile and the unique resonance properties of steel makes every note vibrant and expressive.


The distressed finish makes it difficult to detect playwear, and this Trussart looks exceptionally good. It's a guitar that not only stands out but also sounds truly different from anything else in your collection! Comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.

Die Steel Deville ist seine Interpretation der klassischen Single-Cut-Form und verbindet deren zeitlose Ästhetik mit der charakteristischen Stahlkonstruktion. Jede Gitarre wird in seiner Werkstatt komplett von Hand gefertigt. Dabei wird amerikanischer Vintage-Stahl und traditionelle Ätztechniken verwendet, die jeder Gitarre einen einzigartigen Charakter verleihen.


Diese Steel Deville aus dem Jahr 2011 zeigt die raffinierte Handwerkskunst, für die Trussart bekannt ist. Der geätzte Stahlkorpus mit seiner rostigen Oberfläche ist nicht nur optisch beeindruckend, sondern bietet auch ein einzigartiges Sustain und einen harmonischen Reichtum, den Holzgitarren nicht bieten.
