The Martin D35, recognizable by its three-piece back, has been part of Martin's standard lineup since its introduction in 1965. The design was originally created for a practical reason: it allowed for the use of smaller rosewood pieces that couldn't be used for the two-piece backs of the D28 or D45. While the D28 and D35 share many construction features, the D35 generally has a slightly greater tonal range and a more developed response and balance in the bass and treble.

In 1965 debuteerde de Martin D35, die een nieuwe spirit gaf aan de toch al zeer populaire dreadnought body. Sindsdien is de D35 een onmisbaar onderdeel geworden van de collectie hoogwaardige westerngitaren.
De D35 is gemaakt van Indisch palissander zijkanten en een driedelige Indisch palissander achterkant, zorgvuldig gescheiden door prachtig inlegwerk, en heeft een massief Sitka sparren bovenblad versierd met een ebbenhouten brug, een zwarte slagplaat en omlijst door de antique white binding met meerdere edge inlays. De mahonie hals met ebben toets is versierd met de bekende parelmoeren stippeninleg. Het comfortabele low oval halsprofiel zorgt ervoor dat deze gitaar lekker in de hand ligt, wat een fantastische bespeelbaarheid mogelijk maakt. Deze Martin produceert een gebalanceerde toon, met diepe bassen en sprankelende hoge tonen, zoals verwacht van Martin gitaren!
Deze Martin is gebouwd in 2005, en de gitaar verkeert in zeer goede conditie. Op het bovenblad is een crack gerepareerd, en hierbij zijn aan de binnenzijde van de klankkast twee cleats ingelijmd. Verder is de binding bij de tailles aan de achterzijde van de klankkast opnieuw gelijmd, en de gitaar heeft verder ook de speelsporen en dings die horen bij twintig jaar gebruik.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van TKL.

The D35 features Indian rosewood sides and a three-piece Indian rosewood back, carefully separated by beautiful inlays. It features a solid Sitka spruce top adorned with an ebony bridge, a black pickguard, and antique white binding with multiple edge inlays. The mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard is adorned with the familiar mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The comfortable, low, oval neck profile makes this guitar feel great in the hand, resulting in fantastic playability. This Martin produces a balanced tone, with deep bass and sparkling highs, as you would expect from Martin guitars!
This Martin was built in 2005 and is in excellent condition. A crack on the top has been repaired, and two cleats have been glued in on the inside of the soundboard. Furthermore, the binding around the necks on the back of the soundboard has been reglued, and the guitar also has the playwear and dings consistent with twenty years of use.
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a TKL hardshell case.

Sie verfügt über eine massive Sitka-Fichtendecke mit Ebenholzsteg, ein schwarzes Schlagbrett und ein antikweißes Binding mit mehreren Randeinlagen. Der Mahagonihals mit Ebenholzgriffbrett ist mit den bekannten Perlmutt-Punkteinlagen verziert. Das angenehme, flache, ovale Halsprofil sorgt für ein angenehmes Handgefühl und eine fantastische Spielbarkeit. Diese Martin erzeugt einen ausgewogenen Klang mit tiefen Bässen und strahlenden Höhen, wie man es von Martin-Gitarren erwartet!
Diese Martin wurde 2005 gebaut und befindet sich in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Ein Riss in der Decke wurde repariert, und zwei Stege wurden an der Innenseite der Decke eingeklebt. Darüber hinaus wurde die Einfassung um die Hälse auf der Rückseite der Resonanzdecke neu verleimt. Die Gitarre weist außerdem Spielspuren und Dellen auf, die auf zwanzig Jahre Gebrauch zurückzuführen sind.
Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass und einem TKL-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
