PRS McCarty 594 Aurora Borealis
PRS introduceerde het McCarty-model in 1994 als eerbetoon aan Ted McCarty, een van de belangrijkste figuren uit de geschiedenis van de elektrische gitaar. Als vervolg op dit succesvolle model kwam daar in 2015 de McCarty 594 bij, met een iets langere mensuur (24.594 inch) en meer klankopties. Het doel: een vintage sound creëren met de betrouwbaarheid van moderne PRS-productie.
Deze McCarty 594 is uitgevoerd met een prachtig gevlamd maple top met een werkelijk prachtige Aurora Borealis finish, gecombineerd met een mahoniehouten body. De mahonie hals met Pattern Vintage profiel en palissander toets voelt direct vertrouwd aan. De kenmerkende 'Birds' inlays maken het plaatje compleet.
McCarty III-pickups zijn ontworpen door Paul Reed Smith en het PRS New Products Engineering-team. Van hun eigen praktijkonderzoek naar begeerde vintage pickupmodellen tot vooruitgang op het gebied van signaalanalyse en ‘tuning’-technologie: deze pickups bevatten alle kennis die PRS de afgelopen jaren op het gebied van R&D heeft opgedaan. PRS introduced the McCarty model in 1994, a tribute to Ted McCarty. Following this successful model, the McCarty 594 was released in 2015, featuring a slightly longer scale length (24.594 inches) and more tone options. The goal: to create a vintage sound with the reliability of modern PRS production.
This McCarty 594 features a beautiful flamed maple top with a truly stunning Aurora Borealis finish, combined with a mahogany body. The mahogany neck with a Pattern Vintage profile and rosewood fingerboard feels instantly familiar. The signature 'Birds' inlays complete the picture.
McCarty III pickups were spec’d by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team. From their own hands-on research into coveted vintage pickup models to advancements in signal analyzation and “tuning” technology, these pickups incorporate every detail of pickup knowledge PRS has gained in recent years of R&D. PRS McCarty III pickups are vintage-inspired humbuckers that bring a vocal clarity to their full, warm tone.
