All the way from the United States, we have received two new offset, electric guitar models. The first is from San Diego and is the result of Andy Powers', the CEO of Taylor Guitars, love of guitars and surfing! The other is a brand new model and a collaboration between Eastman Guitars and luthier Otto D'Ambrosio. Two offset models with cool looks, unique features and their own sound. Enough reason to put these two guitars side by side!
Powers Electric A Type
Most people will know Andy Powers mainly from his role at Taylor Guitars. But what Taylor fans may not know is how strongly Andy's passion is rooted in the world of electric guitars.
For Powers Electric, Andy chose to follow his own path, drawing inspiration from his other great passions: cars and surfing. From that combination, the first Powers Electric guitar was born: the A-Type.
Andy's self-designed CamTail and steel bridge with ebony saddle are accompanied by two PF42 single coil pickups with a solid, bright sound.
