Collings I35LC Jet Black Aged
De I35 LC is het resultaat van een custom gelamineerde constructietechniek die Bill Collings en zijn R&D-team ontwikkelden in hun zoektocht naar de beste klankkwaliteiten van vintage semi-hollow gitaarontwerpen. De I35LC is de eerste van een serie laminaat gemaakte instrumenten die zijn ontworpen om akoestisch in perfecte harmonie met hun elektronica te reageren. Elk detail van deze instrumenten is perfect; van het vakmanschap tot de speelbaarheid en klank.
De pickups zijn twee Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers. Gebaseerd op PAF's met een lagere output die vaak in vintage 335's te vinden zijn, heeft deze pickup een helderdere algehele toon vergeleken met de standaard Lollar Imperial. Dit resulteert in een uitzonderlijke definitie voor elk akkoord en een geweldige presence om door de mix te snijden.
Om het vintage karakter kracht bij te zetten is de Jet Black afwerking meesterlijk verouderd! Dit alles maakt de I35LC één van Collings' meest articulerende en veelzijdige elektrische modellen.

The I35 LC is the result of a custom laminated construction technique that Bill Collings and his R&D team developed in pursuit of the best tonal qualities of vintage semi-hollow guitar design. The I35LC is the first of a line of laminate instruments designed to respond acoustically in perfect harmony with their electronics. Every detail of these Collings instruments is perfect; from the workmanship to the playability and tone.
The pickups are two Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers. Based on lower output PAFs often found in vintage 335s, this pickup boasts a brighter overall tone compared with the standard Lollar Imperial. This results in exceptional definition for any chord voicing and overall great presence for cutting through the mix.
To add to the vintage character the Jet Black finish has been masterfully aged! All this places the I35LC among Collings' most articulate and versatile electric models.
