Collings I30LC Tobacco Sunburst
Het doel van Collings bij het maken van de I30LC was om voort te bouwen op het concept van een hollowbody gitaar met twee cutaways en P90 elementen, maar om elk aspect zodanig te verfijnen dat er een unieke, geheel nieuwe speelervaring zou ontstaan. Het resultaat is een van de meest akoestisch responsieve en veelzijdige elektrische gitaren die ooit door Collings is gebouwd.
De lichte klankkast heeft 'trestle' bracing, is tot stand gekomen na uitgebreide R&D en opgedane kennis van de populaire I35 en Statesman LC gitaren. De "non-grained" ivoroid bindingen van de body en hals complementeren het gevlamde esdoorn op bijzonder fraaie wijze. Lollar Dog Ear P90's zijn perfect afgestemd op de akoestische respons van het instrument en bieden een breed palet aan tonen, van rijke jazzy warmte tot de British Invastion-stijl uit de jaren '60.

Collings’ goal in creating the I30LC was to build on the concept of a double-cutaway, P90-style hollowbody guitar, but to refine every aspect to create a unique, entirely new playing experience. The result is one of the most acoustically responsive and versatile electric guitars Collings has ever built.
The lightweight body features trestle bracing, developed after extensive R&D and knowledge gained from the popular I35 and Statesman LC guitars. The non-grained ivoroid body and neck bindings complement the flamed maple in a beautiful way. Lollar Dog Ear P90s are perfectly matched to the acoustic response of the instrument, offering a wide range of tones, from rich jazzy warmth to the British Invastion style of the 1960s.
