De Custom 22 van PRS is een klassiek werkpaard met de sound en speelbaarheid die je van een PRS kan verwachten. De oogverblindende quilted esdoorn top met Black Cherry-finish geeft het instrument naast zijn enorme veelzijdigheid ook een fabuleus uiterlijk.
De mahonie- en esdoornconstructie van de body vormt een welbekende basis van deze PRS Custom 22 uit 2004. De gitaar is voorzien van door PRS zelf ontworpen locking stemmechanieken en tremolosysteem, en beschikt over twee humbuckers die een enorme veelzijdigheid aan sounds bieden. Oorspronkelijk was de gitaar voorzien van de rotary-schakelaar met vijf standen, maar deze is vervangen door een driewegschakelaar. Ook de toonpotmeter is vervangen, en de push/pull-functie ervan zorgt ervoor dat de humbuckers ook te splitten zijn naar een single coil.
Verder valt op dat de knoppen van de stemmechanieken zijn vervangen. De gitaar heeft verder zeer lichte speelsporen, maar ziet er desalniettemin bijzonder schoon uit! De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.

The mahogany and maple construction of the body forms a well-known basis of this PRS Custom 22 from 2004. The guitar is equipped with PRS-designed locking tuners and tremolo system, and has two humbuckers that offer an enormous versatility of sounds. Originally, the guitar was equipped with the rotary switch with five positions, but this has been replaced by a three-way switch. The tone potentiometer has also been replaced, and its push/pull function ensures that the humbuckers can also be split to a single coil.
It is also noticeable that the knobs of the tuners have been replaced. The guitar has very light playwear, but nevertheless looks very clean! The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a hardshell case.

Die Korpuskonstruktion aus Mahagoni und Ahorn bildet eine vertraute Grundlage dieser PRS Custom 22 aus 2004. Die Gitarre verfügt über von PRS selbst entwickelte Locking-Tuner und ein Tremolo-System und ist mit zwei Humbuckern ausgestattet, die eine enorme Klangvielfalt bieten. Ursprünglich war die Gitarre mit einem Fünfwege-Drehschalter ausgestattet, dieser wurde jedoch durch einen Dreiwegeschalter ersetzt. Auch das Tonpotentiometer wurde ausgetauscht und ermöglicht durch seine Push/Pull-Funktion die Aufteilung der Humbucker auf eine Single Coil.
Auffällig ist auch, dass die Knöpfe der Stimmmechaniken ausgetauscht wurden. Die Gitarre weist nur sehr leichte Spielspuren auf, sieht aber dennoch außergewöhnlich sauber aus! Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem Koffer geliefert.
