Slaman North Sea Swing 7-String 1997
Daniel Slaman Guitars staat bekend om zijn vakmanschap en aandacht voor detail bij het bouwen van hoogwaardige archtop en solid body gitaren. Elke gitaar wordt met de hand vervaardigd door Daniel Slaman zelf, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van de beste materialen en traditionele bouwtechnieken. Zijn instrumenten worden geprezen om hun uitzonderlijke klank, speelbaarheid en esthetische schoonheid, en worden onder andere bespeeld door jazzgrootheid Pat Metheny.
Deze zevensnarige North Sea Swing heeft een body van gevlamd esdoorn, die is gepaard met een massief sparren bovenblad. De glanzende finish is naast de body ook op de esdoorn hals terug te vinden, en beide zijn ook voorzien van een ivoroid binding. Voor de kopplaat, slagplaat, brug en het staartstuk heeft Slaman gebruikgemaakt van Coromandel, een stabiele houtsoort die verwant is aan ebben, maar dan met een fraaie tekening. De gitaar is tenslotte voorzien van een zwevend halselement van Benedetto, en dit maakt de North Sea Swing tot een ultieme jazzgitaar!
De gitaar werd gebouwd in 1997, en verkeert in excellente conditie. Op het bovenblad zijn speelsporen te vinden, met daarbij ook enkele dings. Ook op de body zijn lichte speelsporen en enkele dings te vinden, met in de lak ook zeer lichte craquelé op enkele plekken. De gitaar is over het geheel gezien echter zeer schoon en wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van Hiscox.

This seven-string North Sea Swing has a body made of flamed maple, which is paired with a solid spruce top. In addition to the body, the glossy finish can also be found on the maple neck, and both also feature ivoroid binding. For the headstock, pickguard, bridge and tailpiece, Slaman used Coromandel, a stable type of wood that is related to ebony, but with a beautiful grain. Finally, the guitar is equipped with a floating neck pickup from Benedetto, making the North Sea Swing the ultimate jazz guitar!
The guitar was built in 1997 and is in excellent condition. There are playwear marks on the top, including some dings. There are also light playwear and a few dings on the body, with very light weather checking in some places in the lacquer. Overall, however, the guitar is very clean and comes with TFOA passport in a Hiscox hardshell case.

Diese siebensaitige North Sea Swing hat einen Korpus aus geflammtem Ahorn, der mit einer massiven Fichtendecke gepaart ist. Das glänzende Finish findet sich neben dem Korpus auch am Ahornhals wieder, beide verfügen zudem über ein Ivoroid-Binding. Für die Kopfplatte, das Schlagbrett, den Steg und den Saitenhalter verwendete Slaman Coromandel, eine stabile Holzart, die mit Ebenholz verwandt ist, aber eine schöne Maserung aufweist. Schließlich ist die Gitarre mit einem schwebenden Hals-Tonabnehmer von Benedetto ausgestattet, was die North Sea Swing zur ultimativen Jazzgitarre macht!
Die Gitarre wurde 1997 gebaut und ist in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Auf der Oberseite sind Spielspuren, darunter auch einige Beulen. Es gibt auch leichte Spielspuren und ein paar Beulen an der Karosserie, wobei der Lack an einigen Stellen sehr leicht durch Witterungseinflüsse beschädigt ist. Insgesamt ist die Gitarre jedoch sehr sauber und wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem Hiscox-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
