XL Half Rounds, bedacht als het "derde type snaar", zijn een innovatieve combinatie van 'round wound' en 'flat wound' snaren. Half round snaren voor elektrische gitaren voelen zachter aan dan round wound snaren, maar een vollere toon dan snaren die vlak omwonden zijn.
Gemaakt met een koolstofstalen kern en roestvrijstalen wikkeldraad, ze zijn afgewerkt met een nauwkeurig slijpproces voor een soepel gevoel en minder vingergeluid, met een toon die vergelijkbaar is met round wound snaren. Deze 11-49 Medium gauge set biedt meer volume, met iets meer spanning en weerstand.

Made with a high carbon steel core and stainless steel wrap wire, they’re finished with a precision grinding process to provide a smooth feel and reduced finger noise, with tone that's comparable to round wound strings. This 11-49 Medium gauge set provides increased volume, with slightly more tension and resistance.
