Collings D2A HC Hill Country
Met een krachtige, warme basisstem en een droog karakter, levert dit model een toon met een volle low end die direct vertrouwd aanvoelt bij bluegrass-spelers. Tegelijkertijd blijft de responsieve articulatie van het instrument veelzijdig genoeg voor fingerstyle, singer-songwriters en andere akoestische stijlen.
Deze gitaar is gebouwd met een Adirondack sparren top en Indiaas palissander voor de achterkant en zijkanten, wat zorgt voor een rijk klankspectrum met veel dynamiek en die karakteristieke palissander-warmte. De body is afgewerkt met een ivoroid binding en zorgvuldig met de hand gegoten tortoise slagplaat, rozet en hielkap, die het visuele karakter van de Hill Country-serie onderstrepen.
