De Acapulco Gold is een eenvoudig distortion pedaal, welke gebaseerd is op het power amp gedeelte van een volledig opengedraaide vintage Sunn Model T versterker.
De controls zijn erg simpel. De footswitch zet het pedaal aan en uit, en de grote knop bepaald het volume. Minder gain? Draai je volume knop op je gitaar naar beneden. Op zoek naar een donkerder geluid? Draai de toon knop op je gitaar naar beneden.
De Acapulco Gold is volledig analoog, true bypass en maakt gebruikt van een relay-based soft-touch footswitch. Er komt dus geen signaal doorheen zonder voeding.Â
