Weber Aspen #2 Folk Mandolin 1998

Regular price € 1.699

(incl. 0 % VAT)

This 1998 Weber Aspen #2 is a beautiful example of the craftsmanship Bruce Weber is known for!

With its classic flattop A-style design, this mandolin offers a perfect balance of playing comfort and rich, balanced tone. The solid flat spruce top, combined with solid flamed maple sides and back, creates a bright, sparkling tone with surprising projection and volume, a combination that appeals to bluegrass and folk musicians alike.

The finish of this instrument is evidence of why Weber mandolins are so highly regarded by connoisseurs. The ivoroid binding with black and white purfling, the ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl diamond inlays and the ebony headstock overlay give this mandolin a refined look. The comfortable V-shaped maple neck profile and flat ebony fingerboard provide excellent playability, while the open tuners further enhance the vintage charm.

This Weber mandolin has collected light playwear, with some very small dings on the top and back of the body. The mandolin is in excellent condition and comes with a hardshell case and TFOA passport.
