Bill Collings, renowned for his passion and expertise in lutherie, harbored a special fondness for archtop guitars. His vision for Waterloo Guitars included plans for an archtop model, inspired by a vintage flat-backed Recording King archtop that he kept in his workshop. Although his plans were tragically cut short with his passing in 2017, his dream lives on in the WL-AT.

The Waterloo WL-AT pays homage to Collings' legacy and vision, embodying the spirit of the Waterloo line while pushing the boundaries of tone and playability. With its compact 14 13/16" body width, 19 1/4" body length, and 4" body depth, the WL-AT offers a comfortable playing experience without sacrificing sonic depth and resonance.

Featuring a 24 7/8" scale length, 1 3/4" nut width, and 2 5/16" saddle spacing, the WL-AT is meticulously designed for optimal playability and intonation. The sunburst finish adds a touch of vintage elegance, while the meticulously crafted body resonates with the soulful tones of yesteryear.
