James Tyler Classic Black 2010

This James Tyler Classic is built in the style of Dann Huff and was designed by the first owner with James Tyler himself, resulting in a very interesting guitar.

The guitar features an alder body with a maple neck, and the fingerboard is also made of maple. This forms a beautiful contrast with the black finish on the body and headstock, which naturally stands out enough due to its design.

James Tyler's signature headstock was introduced in 1987 at the Los Angeles Guitar Show. Until then, his guitars had a headstock that closely resembled that of Fender, and due to his growing fame, Tyler wanted a slightly more distinctive silhouette to give his brand extra strength.

The guitar also features two JTS 2500 single coils and a Landau Secret humbucker housed in a tortoise pickguard. Inside, alongside a volume knob and pickup selector, is an adjustable mid-boost. The gold hardware completes the picture!

This 2010 James Tyler Classic is a true player-grade guitar for the working musician. It is not for nothing that you find Tyler guitars in the hands of session guitarists, as their versatility and reliability are top-notch. The guitar has various dings and lacquer chips on the body and headstock, but the frets and the back of the neck are still in pristine condition!
