The Legacy 714ce is a homage to the Grand Auditorium body shape that Bob Taylor introduced in 1994. This model features a unique combination of tonewoods not found in Taylor's standard lineup: Indian rosewood back and sides paired with a Western Red cedar top.

With the traditional X-bracing pattern used in the first Grand Auditorium guitars, this guitar produces a warm, soft tone with exceptional touch sensitivity while maintaining clarity in the high frequencies.

Visually, the Legacy 714ce embraces Bob's preference for minimalist aesthetics, with black binding accented by black and white chalk stripe purfling, green abalone dot inlays on the fingerboard, a matching three-ring rosette, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, and gold tuning machines.

The body has a gloss finish, while the neck is satin-finished for a smooth playing experience. This model also comes equipped with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and includes a luxurious hardshell case!
