An S-style that offers the best of both worlds, this Suhr Classic S in Ice Blue pairs two vintage-inspired single coils with a bridge humbucker, giving you everything from sparkling clean tones to powerful rock sounds at your fingertips.

In 1997, John Suhr and Steve Smith founded the Suhr brand in California with the goal of building classic guitar designs with the precision, reliability, and craftsmanship demanded by professional musicians. The Classic S perfectly embodies that philosophy, combining timeless styling with modern playability and impeccable build quality.

This example features an alder body paired with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. The Even Slim C neck profile offers a comfortable feel without being overly thin, while the compound 9" to 12" fingerboard radius and rolled fingerboard edges make chord work effortless and string bending smooth across the entire neck.

The V60LP single coils in the neck and middle positions deliver the open, bell-like clarity expected from a classic S-style guitar, while the SSV Plus bridge humbucker adds extra output, warmth, and punch when it's time to turn things up. A five-way selector switch lets you move seamlessly between these distinct tonal characters.
