Maton TE Personal Tommy Emmanuel 2017

If you’ve ever seen Tommy Emmanuel perform, you know that he is one of the world’s greatest guitarists and one of the most inspiring musicians alive. It takes an exceptional guitar to meet the demands of such an extraordinary player. Designed in collaboration with Tommy Emmanuel, the TE Series guitars are a superb tribute to Tommy’s musicianship and Maton’s superior craftsmanship. Built to Tommy’s specifications, the TE Series delivers the huge sound and performance you would expect from a guitar that bears his name!

Tommy looks for a guitar with outstanding tone, capable of the most delicate expression as well as the fiercest attack. The neck must remain straight regardless of the challenges of international touring, and the guitar must perform at its very best everywhere—from Rome to Nashville to Sydney! And all of these requirements are fully embodied in this instrument!

This Maton from 2017 shows a fair amount of playwear, especially on the body. The top has three repaired cracks: one has been glued on both sides, while the other two are stable and glued on one side only. A small transparent pickguard has also been added. The guitar comes with a Hiscox case and TFOA passport.
