Crafted with solid East Indian rosewood for the back and sides and a solid spruce top, this guitar delivers deep bass and rich overtones. The Grand Auditorium body combines the comfort of a 000 with the width of a Jumbo, providing great playability and projection. Designed in close collaboration with Marr, the standard-taper, full-thickness mahogany neck offers a distinctive playing feel that supports smooth transitions and complex chords.

Marr’s connection to Martin guitars runs deep—his beloved 1971 D-28 was the foundation for countless classics by The Smiths, including “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.” Also available in a unique seven-string version, the M-6 combines premium tonewoods with striking details like a three-piece back, antiqued top, and LR Baggs Anthem electronics. While honoring Marr’s heritage, it’s designed for players of all skill levels and styles.
