The D35 first saw the light of day in 1965 and offered a unique take on the increasingly popular dreadnought body shape!


The handcrafted refreshed D-35 stands out with its iconic three-piece back and lighter, non-scalloped 1/4" bracing, delivering a balanced and powerful tone!

This D-35 Refresh is crafted with East Indian rosewood sides and a three-piece East Indian rosewood back, individually separated by beautiful inlay work. The solid Sitka spruce top is fitted with an ebony bridge, a tortoise pickguard, and is framed by the classic antique white binding with multi-stripe purfling.

Martin's refreshed 2025 Standard Series enhances tone, comfort, and style. Sitka spruce GE top bracing, as seen on the Modern Deluxe Series, delivers vintage-inspired tone and sustain, while updates such as a redesigned neck profile, thinner fingerboard, and refined bridge and heel improve playability and aesthetics.


The D-35 Refresh is a vintage-correct version of the original: balanced in sound, with deep bass and sparkling highs, exactly what you expect from Martin.

The guitar comes with a Martin TKL hardshell case.
