The Martin 00017 is a fresh addition to the Standard Series, combining classic design with modern refinements for enhanced tone, playability, and appearance.

This 14-fret 000 model features a solid mahogany body with a satin finish, delivering the warm, woody tone you expect from a handcrafted mahogany Martin. What sets the new 00017 apart are details like a traditional compound dovetail neck joint and Sitka spruce Golden Era (GE) bracing, known from the Modern Deluxe Series, which provide a more vintage and breathable character.

In terms of playing comfort, this model offers improvements such as a thinner ebony fingerboard with a rounded comfort edge and refined string spacing, significantly enhancing playability. The shorter-scale satin mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and vintage-inspired GE modified low oval profile play lightly and effortlessly. Other details, such as the slimmer heel and the ebony bridge with soft, rounded edges, enhance the timeless character and feel of this guitar.
