The Marble LTD offers several enhancements to the classic 5E3 design. It features a tweed-style tube amplifier with a built-in power soak, four inputs (two per channel), Volume Normal, Volume Bright, Tone, Bass Depth, Power Soaker, Standby, and On/Off switches. The preamp section includes 1x 12AY7, the power amp section contains 1x 12AX7 and 2x 6V6 tubes (5881 optional), and the rectifier is 1x 5Y3GT (5U4GB optional). Output power is 15 Watts with the 5Y3GT or 20 Watts with the 5U4GB.

The LTD features improved circuitry to minimize 50-cycle mains hum, making it ideal for studio environments while preserving the smooth tone and responsive feel of the original design. The Cathodyne Phase Inverter circuit has been updated to prevent coupling capacitor clipping, allowing the amp to be pushed to its limits without losing its dynamic response and drive.

Additionally, the LTD is equipped with a 'Bass Depth' control, providing rich low-end at clean settings and tight, punchy bass at high gain—effectively avoiding muddiness. The custom-designed Weber 'horse shoe' Alnico 12A125S speaker is driven by the Power Soaker attenuator, allowing for easy output reduction—perfect for studio or practice use.
