The paulownia body is not only incredibly lightweight, but also has a 'Nicotine Swedish Blonde' finish that, together with the Medium relic, provides a cool, played-in look! Gotoh's solid hardware ensures that the instrument can be played stably for long periods. Kauffmann ensures that the aging is realistic and balanced, and the aging of the hardware is matched to the aging of the body.

The back of the maple neck has a thin layer of lacquer and the edges are rounded for a comfortable playing feeling. Kauffmann's own Slightly Overwound S pickups also provide the tonal qualities that do justice to the guitar. They are best described as a creamy bluesy sound without losing the vintage transparency!
