Iris OG Sunburst Relic

Iris Guitars, based in Burlington, Vermont, was founded in 2018 under the auspices of Circle Strings. Iris works with a team of passionate guitar enthusiasts led by experienced luthiers Adam Buchwald and Dale Fairbanks to build modern guitars with vintage tone and looks.

Iris guitars benefit from the vast knowledge of the luthiers who have worked on high-end instruments from Circle Strings, Froggy Bottom Guitars and Fairbanks Guitars, among others, and this is why Iris offers an incredible price-quality ratio. The guitars feel like a faithful companion that you have played for years, and sound truly fabulous.

The OG is the original model that put Iris Guitars on the map. The guitar has a size that is reminiscent of the Gibson LG2. The OG offers a warm and dry sound with an impressive midrange thanks to its mahogany back and sides and Sitka spruce top. The guitar is ideally suited for fingerstyle, but also sounds beautiful when strumming chords.

To enhance the authentic feel of the guitars from the glory days, Iris Guitars goes one step further with an aged finish that gives the guitars a played-in feel. The beautiful Sunburst finish is accompanied by an ivoroid binding and a firestripe pickguard for decoration.

The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a TKL hardshell case.
