Iris DWH Iced Tea Burst Relic

Iris Guitars, based in Burlington, Vermont, was founded in 2018 under the auspices of Circle Strings. Iris works with a team of passionate guitar enthusiasts led by experienced luthiers Adam Buchwald and Dale Fairbanks to build modern guitars with vintage tone and looks.

​​The Iris guitars benefit from the vast knowledge of the luthiers who have worked on high-end instruments from Circle Strings, Froggy Bottom Guitars and Fairbanks Guitars, among others, and because of this Iris offers an incredible price-quality ratio. The guitars feel like a faithful companion that you have played for years, and sound truly fabulous.

The DWH is Iris Guitars’ raw and honest approach to the classic dreadnought model. With a mahogany body and a Sitka spruce top, this guitar delivers a warm, dry tone with a powerful midrange and tight bass. The Iced Tea relic finish with a beautifully aged finish and its beautiful crackle gives it that lived-in look, as if you have been playing it for years.

To enhance the authentic feel of the guitars from the glory days, Iris Guitars goes one step further with an aged finish that gives the guitars a played-in feel. The beautiful Tobacco Sunburst finish is accompanied by an ivoroid binding and a firestripe pickguard for decoration. The back and sides of this guitar as well as the neck are finished in a matte lacquer. And to top it all off, Iris now offers the option of having the characteristic logo placed on the headstock in a more modest version, thanks in part to our own Coen!

The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a TKL case.
