This Ibanez PM3C Black is a refined hollow body developed in collaboration with Pat Metheny and offers the warm, expressive tone and elegant feel that are so characteristic of his sound.

The PM3C delivers the intimate, round jazz tone Metheny is known for, thanks to the single PM Special pickup in the neck position. This responds beautifully to dynamics and produces a warm, breathing tone that is ideal for jazz, fusion, and clean sounds. The spruce top combined with maple back and sides gives the guitar a lively acoustic foundation, while the ebony fingerboard ensures clarity and smoothness in every note.

Playability is effortless thanks to the comfortable 628 mm scale length, a maple neck with a pleasant profile, and an ebony fingerboard with a twelve-inch radius. The satin black finish, cream binding, and gold-colored hardware give the guitar an understated yet luxurious appearance. Thanks to the roller Tune-O-Matic bridge on an ebony base and the traditional trapezoid tailpiece, tuning remains stable and the guitar retains its classic hollow body character. Weighing only 2.57 kg, this is a light and inspiring instrument.

This unit was built in 2024 and is in near mint condition with only very light signs of use. It comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.
