Gun Guitars Neptune Bass Olive Drab

Gun Guitars are hand-built in Kloosterzande, Zeeland, by Eugen Wulff, and with their cool design are a modern interpretation of the guitar models from the 50s and 60s. The fact that these models are still very popular today is proven by Gun Guitars, because many Dutch musicians stand on stage with such a guitar!

The Neptune Bass is a short-scale bass guitar that combines the looks of a Harmony with the sound of a Violin Bass. This custom-built lightweight bass seems to have landed in our shop straight from times long gone, because the vintage look of instruments from the 50s and 60s is particularly convincing!

And the sound is exactly as you are used to from old recordings thanks to the hollow body construction with two single coils and flatwound strings; the thick and percussive sound with short sustain is ideally suited for rhythm parts and melody lines in the style of the Beatles and related music styles. The bass also looks particularly beautiful with its slightly reliced ​​Olive Drab finish and white neck; if this doesn't attract attention on stage, we don't know what will!
