We always get excited about a nice Gretsch here at The Fellowship of Acoustics, and this G6136 Falcon is a very special model too!

This Custom Shop G6136 Falcon, built by master luthier Gonzalo Madrigal, immediately stands out with its luxurious appearance thanks to its beautiful deep Midnight Sapphire finish, complemented by Gold Sparkle binding, Gold Plexi pickguard, and gold-colored hardware. Looking further, we see a body without a cutaway and a single Filter'Tron in the neck position for a guitar with a very different configuration than what we are used to from Gretsch!

This makes this guitar a model truly reminiscent of the jazz boxes of yesteryear, as the thick, full-hollow body and neck pickup give it a powerful sound with more than enough warmth. From its classic aesthetic to its deep, complex tone, this premium instrument is ideal for elevating your musical playing. As befits Gretsch, the details are stylishly crafted. Just look at the Grover Imperial tuners, the Synchro-Sonic bridge, and the Cadillac tailpiece with its signature "G," or the Gold Plexi pickguard that showcases the iconic Falcon that gives the instrument its name.

A 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard, 21 medium-jumbo frets, and striking pearloid Hump Block inlays cover a maple neck with a comfortable, familiar standard U-shaped profile for smooth and easy play. A feast for the eyes and ears, this Falcon from the Custom Shop embodies total refinement!
