Gonzalo Madrigal started his career at Fender in 1996 and worked his way up to Master Builder at the Gretsch Custom Shop over the course of twelve years. Under the tutelage of Stephen Stern, he developed his skills working on high-profile tribute projects including Clapton’s “Blackie” Stratocaster, Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Number One,” and George Harrison’s Duo Jet. Since becoming a Master Builder in 2018, Madrigal has become known for his exceptional attention to detail and ability to capture the essence of legendary instruments.
