The Gibson ES 335 50s brings back the spirit of the very first ES 335 models introduced in 1958. With its rounded neck profile, vintage inspired appointments and rich semi hollow resonance, this guitar captures the unmistakable character that made the ES 335 a true Gibson icon.

Its thinline semi hollow body is built from layered maple and poplar with a solid maple center block, delivering exceptional sustain while reducing unwanted feedback. The substantial Rounded C mahogany neck offers a full and comfortable feel, while the bound rosewood fingerboard with classic dot inlays stays true to the earliest “dot neck” ES models.

Equipped with a pair of Custombucker pickups featuring Alnico 3 magnets, the ES 335 50s produces the warm, open and dynamic tones associated with late 50s Gibson humbuckers. Hand wired electronics, an ABR 1 Tune O Matic bridge and aluminum stop tailpiece ensure excellent response and sustain. Finished with a long 59 style pickguard, gold top hat knobs and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, this ES 335 delivers the timeless look, feel and sound that players have loved for more than 60 years.
