Every year, Furch organizes the Backstage Event, where the most beautiful models are available in limited editions. We managed to get our hands on the stunning Red GC-SX with a beautiful Bois de Rose sound box!

This Furch Red GC-SX a is a special instrument from the exclusive Backstage Limited Edition series. With its rare Bois de Rose back and sides, beautiful Ziricote details, and refined finish, this Grand Concert guitar combines Czech craftsmanship with exotic woods for a unique playing experience and visual elegance.

Over the past decades, Furch Guitars has developed into one of Europe's most respected acoustic guitar makers. From their workshop in the Czech Republic, they create instruments that combine craftsmanship and innovation, blending traditional building techniques with modern precision. The Red series represents the top model in the range, and this Backstage Limited Edition was released at the annual BACKSTAGE event that Furch hosts at their headquarters. During this exclusive summer event, visitors get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the production facilities and the chance to discover limited-edition instruments like this one, created especially for the event. 

At the heart of this guitar is a solid Bois de Rose back and sides, a tonewood related to rosewood but with a distinctive character of its own, delivering slightly more midrange clarity. Combined with the Sitka spruce top and scalloped X-bracing, this produces a balanced tone that’s both powerful and detailed. The figured Ziricote bridge and fingerboard not only give the guitar a striking appearance but also contribute to the articulation and clarity of the tone. The Furch Soft V neck profile and 16" radius provide excellent playing comfort, while the Grand Concert body is ideal for fingerstyle and intimate playing without sacrificing projection.

What further distinguishes this guitar is the groundbreaking CNR System Active, a neck construction that Furch has spent decades perfecting. This advanced system uses a 60mm longer and 45% stronger L-shaped structure that dramatically increases neck stability, with an ingenious expansion element that automatically responds to changes in humidity. Combined with Gotoh 510 tuners and a fully compensated TUSQ saddle, this ensures exceptional tuning stability and a consistently great playing experience without constant adjustment.

The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a TKL hardshell case.
