Fender Custom Shop 50's Stratocaster Journeyman Ocean Turquoise 2015

This Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster perfectly captures the spirit of a well loved vintage instrument, combining classic 1950s inspired specifications with the exceptional craftsmanship of the Custom Shop. Finished in Ocean Turquoise aged nitrocellulose lacquer, it offers the look and feel of a guitar that has spent decades on stage while delivering the reliability and playability of a modern high end instrument.

Part of a special limited edition run created for NAMM 2016, this Stratocaster stands out thanks to its beautifully lacquered all rosewood neck. Paired with an Alder body and three hand wound Custom Shop 1959 pickups, it delivers the unmistakable chime, clarity and responsiveness that players love in a great vintage Strat.

Built in 2015, this guitar remains in excellent condition. As with many Journeyman Relic models, it can be difficult to distinguish the factory ageing from genuine signs of use, but the instrument presents very cleanly and has clearly been well cared for.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
