The Collings SoCo LC takes its name from the vibrant and eclectic South Congress district in Austin, Texas. It blends the most beloved characteristics of classic semi hollow guitars with a distinctive modern aesthetic, resulting in a versatile and stylish instrument that feels equally at home on stage or in the studio.

This Custom SoCo LC is a stunning example of the extraordinary craftsmanship that Collings is known for. The SoCo LC features a 15" wide single cut semi hollow body with a carved laminated maple top and body. A maple center block and long neck tenon are integrated into the body to improve sustain and tonal transfer compared to more traditional semi hollow designs. The ergonomically shaped heel also provides comfortable access to the higher frets.

Equipped with Lollar Imperial Low Wind pickups, this guitar offers beautifully balanced output between the pickup positions, allowing smooth transitions without drastic shifts in volume or low end. The tone is clear, punchy and articulate without ever sounding harsh or sterile. From bright and twangy sounds to warmer, thicker tones, this Collings is an incredibly versatile tone machine that adapts effortlessly to virtually any playing style.
