Alhambra R9P Requinto 1/2 Size 2024

The Alhambra R9P 1/2 Size is a smaller-sized guitar and is a Requinto model. These guitars are tuned higher than regular guitars and feature a deeper body than regular 1/2 Size guitars, producing a high volume. They are excellently suited as accompaniment instruments and are used in Trío romántico groups in Latin music.

But the richness of the sound is not the only top quality of this guitar: the action is also sublime; high enough to make the guitar sing, yet extremely comfortable. And the sound projection is perfect: basses, midtones, and trebles are fully balanced thanks to the Indian rosewood body with a cedar top.

This 2024 Alhambra is in very good condition. The bridge has been re-glued, and there are minor lacquer imperfections visible on the side of the neck resulting from improvised position markers. Furthermore, we find several small dings on the top, along with some light buckle wear on the back of the body.

The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
